New Adam Lambert Song - Want

Between 2007 and 2008 before Adam Lambert auditioned for American Idol, he recorded some demo songs which were intended for other artists. HiFi Recordings which was the company where Adam sang under will be releasing an album of these songs called, "On With The Show." The first single being released is a pop/rock ballad called, "Want." In a recent interview with Adam, he mentioned he is not pleased with the release of this album, and that his debut album is not a reflection on the type of music he recorded under HiFi Recordings.

New Demi Lovato Single - Here We Go Again

This is the first single off Demi Lovato's new album, Here We Go Again due to be released July 21. Demi starred in the hit Disney movie Camp Rock last year, and went on tour with the Jonas Brothers promoting her first album. Demi stated in interviews that the new album will feature more of a John Mayer feel instead of the Jonas Brothers type of music. This song sounds like a cross between Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry's "Waking Up In Vegas." Either way, I think it's a good single from her. It took me a while to find a good HQ version of the song, so enjoy!!

Amit Paul (From the Swedish group A*Teens)

Amit was part of the Swedish band A*Teens which dismembered a few years ago. Other members have done solo stuff, and this is Amit's first CD. His music is alternative with a hint of pop/rock. This one song called, "Judge You" was a single released a few months ago, and I really love this song. It sounds like a mix between Kelly Clarkson and Jason Mraz. Enjoy!

This week in music news:
* Miley Cyrus stated in a interview this past week that the next season of Hannah Montana will be the last season in the series. She stated that she didn't want the show to end without a good ending.
* In an online chat with Adam Lambert via Comcast's Idol blog, Adam stated that he is currently working in his debut album being released this Fall. He said that he wants his album to be a fusion of music and to create a new genre of music. He said he would like to do a song with Lady Gaga calling her music and style, "fresh."
* A lot of artists are coming out with music this summer including Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale, and Christina Aguilera. Watch out in the next few weeks for more updates about these and other artists!

Ashley Tisdale's Guilty Pleasure Album
Did you know that Ashley Tisdale has a new album coming at the end of next month? She's been promoting her single, "It's Alright, It's Ok!" all over and recently performed the song live on Good Morning America. If you're an avid youtube user, you'd probably already found the whole album on there. The reason why? I don't know! She's an American Artist, but the United States is among the last countries to be releasing the album. I couldn't resist the temptation of hearing all the songs, so I did listen to them on youtube. It's a nice mix of rock/pop/electropop, similiar to Kelly Clarkson's most recent album, "All I Ever Wanted." Another little tid bit about the album, Ashley sings a song written/produced by Katy Perry! The album is full of hits and I would be very suprised if it doesn't sell well. I definetely will be supporting her when the album comes out July 28. I'll give an in depth review closer to the release date.
Here is Ashley's current single, "It's Alright, It's Ok!"

It's that time again! Time to vote for who will be the featured artist of the month in July. We have Ashley Tisdale, Jordin Sparks, Hannah Montana, Demi Lovato, & Daughtry. So pick your favorite & hope to see them up top!

Hi Everyone!

My name is Dennis and I'll be contributing to this wonderful blog. I came across this blog a year ago and found all the posts to be exciting and always fresh! A lot of the music I listen to now, I credit to this site because it always has something new. I love music and if I could go back in time, I would probably have studied music instead of Communications. I play the piano, and cello since I was in 6th grade and enjoy all types of music. I'm a big Pop fan and also a Renaissance music fan including Vivaldi. I hope that my contributions will be able to keep this blog up and running.

Update/Opinions
Hi guys, it's me, Chris. I know nothing really has been posted in 2 weeks or so, and I'm very sorry for that. Since May I started this really awesome internship that keeps me very very busy. I am also working on a really big personal project since March, and that project has been taking up my time too. And I thought having 5 other people on the blog would help, but they don't post either. The only one that posts is Sean. And I know alot of you say stuff about him & say he is only here for himself, but that's not true. Now I need your guys' opinions. I have been thinking of just shutting this blog down. What are your thoughts? I do want to thank all the people who do enjoy this site & still come. And I do want to thank everyone who has helped so far. So please give me your opinions, they would be greatly appreciated!
